Alex Ovechkin is a Russian hockey player that plays for the Washington Capitals. He was born in Moscow, Russia. He is 35 years old and his birthday is September 17th, 1985. He is 6’3″ and 233 pounds. His estimated net worth is about $30 million dollars US. He is the captain of the Washington Capitals and has been for ten years now. He has won many awards but some of his more important awards are The Stanley Cup, Rocket Richard’s (most goals in a season) and the Calder trophy (best rookie).
He is my favorite hockey player in the entire league because I find him very humble and a very good hockey player. He also is on my favorite hockey team the Washington Capitals which is also another reason why I really like him. I really like how he gives to charity and spends time with children who are in hospitals.
Another few facts about him is that he was drafted in 2004 first overall. He is well known for his one timer slapshot in “his office” which is on the top of the red circle. He has a over 100 mile shot which is crazy in my opinion.
